Corporate Design
Workpartner: Markus Gillhuber

The "Deutsche Museum" located in Munich (Germany) is one of the first and most important economic and engineering museums of the world. The thought founder´s concept was to create a three-dimensional encyclopedia. The three-dimensional thought, and the interface between economy and technology were the basic concepts of the newly developed corporate design.

The signet graphically shows the interface between economy and technology. The Signet is made of two overlapping layers who are moving on a simplified molecular structure of an atom. One of the layers is moving variably on the structure of the atom. In this way we developed a variable system and endless variations of the Signet. The concise form of the signet is also used in different applications. The form can be used in various ways. It can be used as an information board, as transparent layer above pictures, and pictures themselves can be placed in the form as well.
